What is my mailing address?

          * Ronald Resident

                                                      - Please use your room number and space



Where is my mail delivered?

         * All Carpenter Wells mail boxes are located in the LDC



What if I have a package that is too big for my mail box?

          * When you receive a package, a yellow package slip will be placed in your Carpenter Wells mail box.              Bring the slip and your Tech ID to the Murray Hall office to pick up your package.



What is the LDC and where is it located?

           * The LDC or Leadership Development Center was formerly the Carpenter Wells Common Building.                The building now houses the offices for Residents Housing Association, Learning, and Leadership.                It is located west of the Bell Tower between buildings 12-15 and 1-4.



Where can I do my Laundry?

          * The laundry room is located on the first floor of the LDC just past the mail boxes.



Since we have stove tops, are we allowed to have toaster ovens?

          * NO! It is still housing policy that toaster ovens, along with grills (of any form) and toasters are                      NOT  allowed in resident's rooms and will be confiscated if found.



I am 21 or older, will I get in trouble for alcohol if I have it in my room?

         * YES! Texas Tech is a dry campus. NO alcohol is allowed on campus, NO exceptions. If you plan on                 drinking, please take it off campus, and do so responsibly.



What are the visitation policies in Carpenter Wells?
      
          * Carpenter Wells has 24hr visitation. However, as in other Residence Halls, members of the opposite sex should not be staying the night. If you have guests in town, please discuss arrangements with your roommates and remember, you are all paying for the space you live in and have the right to be respected.
